Calendula Oil in BPM project

BPM stands for Biobased Performance Materials
Completely biobased adhesives and coatings, as well as composite parts for trains or wind turbines on the basis of renewable raw materials. That is what researchers are looking for in this project. Wageningen UR Food & Biobased Research is working with three universities and eight companies, one of which is Calendula Oil bv.

In the new projects NOPANIC and BIOCRES, researchers and companies are working together to develop sustainable and environmentally-friendly alternative building blocks for polymers and composite resins. The two projects fall under the Biobased Performance Materials programme, which is financed in part by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation.
