Calendula Oil Ltd has exclusive licences on cultivars of Calendula with higher seed oil production and better extractability developed by Plant Research International (Wageningen University and Research Centre, the Netherlands). Calendula Oil Ltd supports the breeding programme of Plant Research International to secure the continued cultivar improvement of Calendula.

Calendula Oil Ltd concludes long-term seed production contracts with agricultural enterprises which have acquired experience with the cultivation of calendula crops; Calendula Oil Ltd guarantees the purchase of the total crop, at a previously agreed price. Farmers have the right to use our exclusive, specially designed and well-performing varieties.

Calendula Oil Ltd acquires the seed and organizes the logistics of seed transport and oil extraction.

With extracting companies, Calendula Oil Ltd concludes contracts for the extraction of the expected harvest in a certain region at a previously agreed moment in time. The seeds are pre-processed according to a procedure optimized for Calendula seed. The oil delivered conforms to previously arranged specifications, according to the wishes of the consumer.

The international spreading of the agricultural production of calendula seed enhances the security of supply to customers. In order to guarantee delivery, Calendula Oil Ltd consults with its customers on the necessary level of strategic reserves of calendula oil.
