The calendula flower is renowned for centuries for its medicinal essential oil with skin-healing properties.

It has been proven that the SEED of this plant also produces a very valuable oil. The seed oil is a fast drying oil, with special chemical possibilities. The oil contains a high content of a special fatty acid (calendic acid) with three conjugated double bonds (C=C). Using calendula oil or calendic acid various new useful end products can be produced. Calendic acid uniquely occurs in Calendula seed oil which offers wide opportunity for the marketing and sales of industrial products which employ this calendula oil.

The use of a specially developed marketing label (see opposite) contributes to the marketing of the new end products.
