Partners of Calendula Oil Ltd are organizations and businesses which play an important role in the process of research and production development.

Initiating partners are organizations which, by means of development projects, have contributed to the development of fundamental knowledge of Calendula oil.
Initiating parters are PESP and TransForum Agro en Groen

PESP was launched in 1987 by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs to promote Dutch exports to emerging markets. Since then many Dutch companies have been able to investigate the feasibility of a project with support from PESP. Owing to these studies it was possible to convince foreign agricultural producers and oil extraction companies to co-operate in the production of calendula oil.

TransForum creates conditions which allow the Netherlands to continue to face international competition. In order to do this, new alliances between entrepreneurs and knowledge producers are needed. To this aim, TransForum has subsidized ‘Calendula’ as a development project. The project pays attention to both the technological innovations (seed improvement as well as new applications of oil in paint production) as to the organizational innovation (the development of international chains). The results of this project have, to a large measure, provided the foundation for the establishment of Calendula Oil Ltd
